Congratulations to 3200 meter competitor Chris LeMay on his 8th place finish at the State Track Meet in Columbus on Saturday afternoon. Chris, projected to finish 13th, fought hard throughout the race to finish on the podium as the 8th place finisher. Congratulations to Chris, his family, Coach Sanchez, and the entire Warrior Track Community.
Chris LeMay will compete in the 3200 meter run today at Jesse Owens stadium in Columbus today. He will look to improve upon his 3rd place finish in the regionals this past weekend. Lemay has his work cut out for him against a fast field as his seed time of 9:55.67 has him in 13th place.
COLUMBUS — It would’ve been easy for Edgewood senior shot putter Matt Fitchet to come into Friday’s Division II state track and field meet a little complacent. The Edgewood Warrior Football Team will be hosting their 2nd Annual Football Camp on July 12th and 13th at Edgewood High School. The camp will run from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and is open to any incoming 2nd through 8th grade student. Cost will be $20 per player. All proceeds will benefit the 2014
