Game Recap

Constant pressure, patience, and persistence served the Warriors week this evening. The guys stuck with the game plan and kept the ball moving for the entire game. After multiple shots on goal stifled by Niles stout goalkeeper, we finally broke through on the score sheet in the second half To get off to an early 1-0 lead. Niles countered with about 10 minutes to go in the game. The Warriors buckled down defensively and kept the pressure on the Niles defense and netted a late second half goal to secure the victory. This was a TOTAL team effort for 80 minutes. I’m very proud of our team for their performance. We look to keep the momentum rolling Thursday night against AAC foe Lakeview.

Game Recap

Braden Team B loses to Perry 8-0.
Braden team B loses a tough match at Perry. Braden thought they were going to play Perry girls team, but showed up to find out they were playing the boys team. However, bring prepared for anything, team B played hard and entered halftime down 2-0. The second half proved to be a bit more challenging. Given the circumstances, Braden played very well and did some really nice things on the field. The score did not reflect the excellent job in goal by Marissa Chapman and some really good play by Olivia Detrick, Brooke Caruso, Ronnie Nagy, and Michael Vendetti.
“Bulldog of the Game” award goes to Olivia Detrick for her all around performance; “Ugly Jersey” award goes to Ian Miller for his pressure on the opposing team’s defense and generating offensive pressure.
Next up, Conneaut at home in Monday.

Game Recap

Our guys played their hearts out tonight. Lakeside got the best of us tonight off a corner kick that just bounced the wrong way. Defense held our back line together, mids did their jobs, forwards were pushing for the full 80 minutes, and the keeper kept things tight and distributed the ball well. I couldn’t possibly ask for more from these guys. Gotta love the County games. Thanks to all of the Warrior faithful who came to support.
